There are at least 5 ways to consider, as described below. But first, read about why joining the network might be useful, even temporarily.

Joining this network allows you to send messages to Directory members and to Multifacet Services concerning the job you wish done. You need not make details of yourself known. Joining simply allows you to form groups, post information, and contact a Directory member via the ning message system. It also allows Directory members to contact you via the same ning message system. Just remember, Multifacet Services simply connects people. We do not guarantee the work, honesty, or availability of a services provider. Screening the services provider is left to you. In using our service, you agree not to hold Multifacet Services or its staff members responsible, to indemnify, for any consequences of the relationship between you and any members of the Directory both online and offline.

1. Locate a member. Read his member page. Send a message to that member to contact you so you can discuss the job.

2. Download the Directory. Use the contact information in the Directory.

3. Join the network. Locate a member. Invite the member to join you in a private group for discussion of the job. Maybe you want to start a bids forum. This is best done in a private group setting. You can invite email bids or make the bidding open in the forum.

4. Solicit members to apply for the job. Ask Multifacet Services to post a job ad on the forum in the private network. Then sit back and wait for members of the Directory to contact you. If you post a job ad on your My Page here in the public Doorway site, everyone that visits this public site will see the ad--probably not a good idea since our members provide services in your home!!!

5. Join the private network. Get access to the Directory members on a permanent basis. This option is suitable for apartment managers and rental landlords who need to contact various Directory members for move-out clean-ups and other services apartment dwellers and renters might ask about. Even churches might want to find service providers for temporary needs. This membership comes with a monthly fee of $5.00 or pay once at $50.00/year. Membership includes an ad in the Directory!
